Those in attendance: Brian Kostecki, CC, Mykal Amaré, ACB, CL, Cause Haun, Chuck Furumori, Josh Huisenga, Norman Bell, CC, Shari Kaufman, Jim Guenther, ATMB, Jean Manwaring, ACB, Mimi Stewart, Wendy Cwinar, Janet O’Brien. We had a returning guest Henry.

Norman Bell, CC, called the meeting to order at 7:45 AM.

Jean gave us an inspiration story about a picture of a group of homeless women and children that meet at “Mary’s Place” and shared the poem off gratitude they wrote thank you Jean.

Josh was our Toastmaster today, nice going Josh!

The Earlybirds were privileged to have second candidate for Seattle City Council District 1 seat Lisa Herbold speak to us today. Lisa gave us her experience in community and her tenacity in her door knocking campaign. We had a question and answer session after her speech.

Our second speech was an Ice Breaker given by Mimi Stewart. Mimi joined us two weeks ago and she has boldly jumped in with both feet. Mimi’s speech was titled “Frog Transplant.”

The Table Topic was given by Chuck, he gave us two choices, “do you believe that global warming/climate change exist and why” or “should we be placing higher taxes on the rich (I didn’t get the exact wording on this on) and why.”
What was interesting is that there was a 5 way tie for winner.

We made due without our supplies today, we are a flexible bunch, Jim Guenther is checking on how we can get our materials in the future.

Cause reminded everyone about MeetUp, go on the site and join, then RSVP for the following meeting so that new people seeking us can see how many people are going to be attending the meeting. The more the merrier. Here is the link:
