This meeting was one for the books, informative and fun.

Chuck Furumori, who is acting president called the meeting to order at 7:45 AM.

Mykal gave us our Inspiration (Mother’s Day) and pledge salute.

Greg Phillips was our illustrious Toastmaster today, with the theme consistency.

Jean gave us the Word for the day, Toi, Toi, Toi. Wishing bad luck is wishing good luck in the arts.

Dave Warren was our Grammarian; this was his first time, good job, Dave. Jim Guenther was our General Evaluator and Rian was our Timer (first time). Brian was our vote counter.

Mimi Stewart gave us a manual speech, project 5, ‘Your Body Speaks’. Her speech was Titled “Parental Hacks for Busy Parents.” This turned out to be a part one. She Gave us point one and two of five points. Great presentation and I believe we all are looking forward to hearing the other three points.

Chuck gave our second speech. Chuck did a fantastic job giving the audience a description of the officer’s roles in Toastmasters. Chuck asked for nominations or volunteers from the floor and got great results. Thank you for doing this Chuck, a mark of a real leader.

We will take nominations for the next two weeks with a vote on the 20th.

Mimi was our Table Topic Master, topic “Give one Ah-Ha moment and why it was one.

The winners today were, speech-Mimi; Table Topic-Pat (our guest) and Clean Slate – no one announced.
