Earlybirds you out did yourselves today.

Norman Bell, CC, called the meeting to order at 7:45 AM.

Mykal gave us our inspirational reading, “Leaves.”

Chuck gave us a chuckle as our humorist. Brian was timely timer; Jean gave us a “Humbug” of a word. Henry, our newest member, jumped in and grammarized us; Jim G. gave our speakers a well-deserved evaluation and Norman did brief evaluation of our meeting.

We had three speeches.

Mimi gave us a lesson on Democracy with her project number two speech, organize your speech. Her speech title “Why Not” a 5 – 7 minute speech. Asking the question “Are we a country of the people, for the people and by the people?”

Shari also gave us a speech from the CC manual, project 2, organize your speech. Her speech title “Art Counts.” Asking “Are we doing what we love or do we let others dissuade you.” Also Shari gave us a lot of useful information, for instance how art engages our brain in many different ways and how it can heal.”

Shawn gave “Those guys are around here all of the time, they are really nice.” A speech about how politics sucks. This was a speech to get us fired up and take part in voting. We in West Seattle have only a 22% turn out. Let’s do it get out there and vote.

Steven Ward asked, “What would you change if your salary increased by 10% or you received a million dollars” for our table topics today. A varied bunch of answers were given.

Brian made sure that everyone knows about our Halloween contest that he will be the TM.

Conference November 7, 2015 at the Microsoft Campus; if anyone is interested please ask.
